The higher the pressure the tougher the cleaning job they can tackle. Electric pressure washer can be used for light-duty cleaning like washing cars, outdoor grills and garage floor etc. This type of pressure washer generally cost less are lighter and more portable than gas-powered washers. Generally the pressure range of electric pressure washer is 1,300 to 1,400 psi. Gas-powered pressure washers can deliver high pressure than electric powered pressure washers. Some of them can pressurize water more than 3000 psi. But gas-powered pressure washers required more water. This type of pressure washers can be used for bigger jobs like removing “aging” stains from wood decks, deep cleaning concrete, preparing siding from planting etc. Usually gas-powered pressure washers cost $300 to $800 according to features, engine and pump quality.
